If you've never heard the term bouclé before, now's time to start making notes. Made of at least two strands twisted together with an irregular tension, both the resulting yarn - with its continuous protruding loops - and the fabric created by its usage may be referred to as bouclé. In the case of these two jacket fabrics, the bouclé yarns small curls result in a look reminiscent of terry cloth, but with heaps more sophistication.
